COMMON CONDITIONS TREATED NATURALLY
Pediatrics
Naturopathic treatments can help children with various medical conditions such as asthma, allergies, gastro-intestinal conditions, skin problems, headaches, diabetes, learning disorders, and Down Syndrome.
Allergies and Asthma
People with seasonal allergies commonly react to pollens and grasses such as ragweed. A recent study in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine linked the regular use of household cleaning agents with asthma. By treating the whole body, a person with the these conditions can optimize their health.
Hormonal Conditions
The desire to succeed at work or school can lead to a great deal of stress in our fast-paced world. Our bodies try to compensate, yet chronic stress often leads to disease. Chemicals in our environment can hinder peolpe's ability to have children. Women can experience PMS and bloating, anxiety, depression, hypothyroidism, and hyperthyroidism. Women also suffer symptoms associated with menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, emotional fluctuations, and possible bone loss that could develop into osteoporosis. Men experience hormonal changes over time related to stress or the aging process. These conditions can all be treated with nutritional supplements, botanicals, homeopathic medicines, proper nutrition, lifestyle changes, and exercise.
Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Cancer
Heart disease remains the number one cause of death in Canada. The number of Canadians with Type II diabetes is expected to climb to three million in the next three years. Diabetes can cause blindness, nerve damage to the extremities, and kidney failure. Natural medicines reduce the risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, and cancer; and minimize the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments and often reduce the spread of cancer while supporting your overall health.
NATUROPATHIC MEDICAL SERVICES

Acupuncture
The World Health Organization recognizes 55 medical conditions that are effectively treated using acupuncture including: hay fever, depression, headaches, knee pain, low back pain, morning sickness, rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica, sprains, strokes, and tennis elbow. A recent study in the Archives of Internal Medicine concluded that individuals with back pain that were treated with acupuncture had lasting relief in contrast to patients receiving medications and other medical treatments.
Pre-and Post Surgery Supplementation
Supplements and natural medicines before and after surgery, including dental work, reduce recovery time and aid the healing of scar tissue.
Smoking Cessation Plan
Cigarette smoke contains over 50 known carcinogens. The Stop Smoking Cessation Plan uses a combination of supplements, homeopathic medicines, and acupuncture treatments to help you beat this life-threatening addiction.
